Position Overview:

As a Furniture Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our company, responsible for safely and efficiently delivering furniture items to our valued customers. Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail will ensure a positive and seamless delivery experience.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle, following all traffic laws and safety guidelines.
• Load furniture items onto the delivery truck, ensuring secure and stable placement.
• Plan delivery routes using GPS navigation or maps to optimize time and mileage.
• Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery windows and provide updates on delivery status.
• Safely unload furniture items at customers' homes, ensuring items are placed in designated rooms and inspected for damages.
• Assemble furniture items on-site according to manufacturer instructions.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service by being polite, friendly, and respectful during interactions with customers.
• Collect and process payment for COD (Cash on Delivery) orders, issuing receipts as needed.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues to the appropriate department.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized delivery truck, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked.
• Collaborate with the warehouse and sales teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment and resolve any delivery-related issues.
• Uphold company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and customer service standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in customer service or logistics is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in furniture delivery, transportation, or a related field preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for positive customer interactions.
